Ma in che formato è? Perché magari esiste un'applicazione KDE anche per 
quello! ;)

formato aperto...

Lo sai poi che fare un pacchetto che funzioni sulla maggior parte delle 
distribuzioni è una cosa che fa venire parecchi mal di testa? Magari c'è 
già un programma open source che li legge e quindi hanno pensato bene di 
non perdere tempo (e soldi dei contribuenti) per fare un pacchetto che 
sicuro fra 1 anno o 2 non è più compatibile con "le ultime distribuzioni".
