Cari ragazzi,
ho fatto un piccolo esperimento. Ho "acceso" beryl, lasciando prima il
gestore di finestre di Kde, poi Metacity, infine Beryl stesso (con il
mio tema che prevede un sacco di sfumature). Nel mentre ho lanciato
anche glxgears per vedere cosa cambiava; nell'ordine:

kriss a stormy64:~$ glxgears (con KDE)

19186 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3837.198 FPS
20599 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4119.710 FPS
20690 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4137.700 FPS

kriss a stormy64:~$ glxgears (con Metacity)
20833 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4166.500 FPS
20285 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4056.977 FPS
21121 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4224.144 FPS
21147 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4229.371 FPS
21093 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4218.474 FPS

15052 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3010.373 FPS
14633 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2925.795 FPS

Notare come Beryl si tenga un buon 25% della GPU, tenetene conto
quando volete giocare :-)
